The materials coming out of this lab are called shape memory polymers, and they have chemical properties that allow them to do amazing things. These polymers typically have a permanent state, which is the state they'll always return to after being stretched into what is known as a temporary state. One unique attribute of this particular material is that they can hold their temporary state at about room temperature or below, and return to their permanent state rather quickly, with only a slight increase in temperature. Contact with the temperature of the human body is enough to melt the crystalline structures within the polymer and return them to their permanent state. The stored energy is another important capability of this material. This attribute allows these materials to do work as they return to the permanent state, such as lifting a weight or compressing something. While shape memory polymers have been around a while, scientists are understanding better ways to make them everyday, and they soon may become a part of the everyday experience, just as many other types of elastic already are.

For this you will need Coconut Oil Shea butter Bees wax Pure activated charcoal Vitamin E capsules Now let me show you guys how to make this: Take a clean bowl and add 3 teaspoons of coconut oil, 1 teaspoon shea butter, 1 teaspoon of grated beeswax and 2 capsules of Vitamin E. Here I am going to use a double boiler to melt all these ingredients. So what you need to do is take a medium sized bowl and add hot water into it and then place the other bowl into it as show in the video. Wait until it melts completely. Take the bowl out of the double boiler and add 1 teaspoon of activated charcoal into it and mix very well. Here I have taken one of my old mascara tube and I have cleaned it thoroughly. Cleaning a mascara tube is very easy just take out the upper rubber lid , the mascara wand and the mascara bottle and soak everything in hot water and soap for 10 mins and rise it off. Then pour some eye makeup remover and put the lid back and shake it thoroughly and leave it overnight. Next morning again clean the mascara bottle using hot water and dry them completely. Now pour the homemade mascara into the empty mascara bottle as shown in the video. Now all natural homemade mascara is ready. Apply your homemade mascara as you normally apply your regular mascara. This is totally chemical free and is good for your eyes. This will give you a very cooling sensation. It will become dry and smudge proof 10 mins after applying the mascara. If there is any remaining, then Just store the remaining mixture in a small clean container and you can use it as your kajal as well. So that’s it for this video.
