HT12P 1.2T Mini Excavator – The Pilot Control Difference

  • Pilot-operated joysticks – hydraulic-assisted controls for smooth, precise operation.

  • 25L hydraulic oil tank – 6L larger than competitors, extends working hours in hot weather.

  • 940mm narrow body – fits through standard doorways for indoor demolition and basement work.

  • 1700mm digging depth – trenches, footings, drainage, and site clearing.

  • KOOP or Briggs & Stratton – choose the engine that fits your region and emission requirements.

Pilot Controls – Not Cable Pulls

Most 1.2-ton excavators use mechanical cables – stiff, jerky, and tiring to operate all day. The HT12P uses pilot-operated joysticks. The controls are hydraulic-assisted – light, responsive, and precise. You can make fine adjustments around foundations, pipes, and existing structures without fighting the machine.

Runs Cooler, Works Longer

The HT12P’s hydraulic oil tank holds 25L – 6 liters more than most 1.2-ton competitors. On a hot summer afternoon, that extra capacity keeps hydraulic fluid temperatures down. Less heat means less wear on pumps and seals, and more working hours before the machine needs to cool down.

Paint That Stays On, Not Flakes Off

The HT12P’s structural parts go through a full surface treatment – shot blasting, pickling, phosphating, and plastic spraying. Most manufacturers skip these steps and just spray paint over raw metal. The result? Paint that flakes off within a year and rust that eats through the frame. The HT12P’s paint bonds to the metal – it stays on the machine, not in the back of your truck.

German Hoses, Proven Hydraulics

Hydraulic hoses are imported from Continental AG in Germany – they don’t leak after a year of use like cheaper alternatives. The hydraulic system delivers smooth, responsive power whether you’re running a bucket, a breaker, or an auger. Optional boom swing (60° left/right) and retractable track (830–1000mm) are available for tighter job sites.

What's the difference between pilot controls and standard cable controls?
Pilot controls use hydraulic pressure instead of mechanical cables. The joysticks are lighter, smoother, and more precise – you can make fine adjustments without fighting the machine. Standard cable controls are stiffer and more tiring to operate over long shifts.
How wide is the HT12P? Will it fit through a standard doorway?
The HT12P is 940mm wide. With the folding canopy, it fits through most standard doorways and can work inside buildings, basements, and elevator shafts. An optional 1100mm chassis width is available for customers who need extra stability on uneven ground.
How deep can the HT12P dig?
Maximum digging depth is 1700mm (1.7 meters) – deep enough for utility trenches, drainage lines, foundation footings, and demolition work.
What's the advantage of the 25L hydraulic oil tank?
Most 1.2-ton excavators have a 19L hydraulic tank. The HT12P has 25L – 6 liters larger. On hot days or during continuous work, the extra oil keeps the hydraulic system cooler and extends your working hours before the machine needs to cool down.
What engine options are available for the HT12P?
The standard engine is a KOOP 192F (7kW). For markets with stricter emission standards or different fuel preferences, we offer RATO and Briggs & Stratton options – all with Euro 5, EPA, CE, and ISO certifications.
What attachments can I use with the HT12P?
The HT12P accepts standard mini excavator attachments – digging buckets (400mm standard), hydraulic breakers, augers, grading blades, grapples, rippers, rakes, and root toppers. Quick-hitch systems are available for fast attachment swaps.
What optional features are available for the HT12P?
The HT12P offers three optional upgrades: boom swing (60° left/right for working next to walls), retractable track (830–1000mm for access through tighter gates), and pilot control (standard on the HT12P, optional on other models).
